Leen obtained a M.Sc. degree in Mathematics (in 1988) and a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science (in 1994). Between 1994 and 2000 she has been an assistant at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, as well as a member of the Fuzziness and Uncertainty Modelling Research Unit.
