Short biography

Tom Mélange was born in Kortrijk, Belgium in 1984. He received the M.Sc degree in Mathematics from Ghent University, Ghent, Belgium, in 2006. He joined the Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, Ghent University, where he is a member of the Fuzziness and Uncertainty Modelling Research Unit working toward the Ph.D. degree with a thesis on Fuzzy Adaptive Video Restoration under the promotorship of Prof. E. E. Kerre.
